The Kathmandu Gurkhas defeated the Karnali Yaks by three wickets in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Wednesday at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. This is the first win for the Kathmandu Gurkhas in the Nepal Premier League. Batting first, Karnali Yaks scored 149 runs in 20 overs. Indian star player Sikhar Dhawan scored 72 runs off 51 balls for Karnali Yaks but it was not enough to secure victory. Kathmandu, led by captain Karan KC, chased down the target in a style , handing Karnali their second consecutive loss in the tournament.
