Biratnagar Kings secure their first NPL victory

At the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday, the Biratnagar Kings defeated the Lumbini Lions by two wickets in their third Nepal Premier League (NPL) game, claiming their first win. Lumbini Lions lost the first game they played. After loosing a toss, Lumbini Lions scored an impressive total of 191/7 in their 20 overs. This score was the highest set by any team in the tournament so far. Captain Rohit Paudel’s innings of 46 runs of 29 balls was the highlight for Lumbini Lions.

Chasing a massive target of 192 runs set by Lumbini Lions, Biratnagar Kings fought till the end and secured victory with just one ball to spare. Martin Guptill and Basir Ahmed contributed 28 and 40 runs, respectively.
