Kathmandu Gorkhas Defeat Janakpur Bolts By 5 Wicket In NPL 2025
Defending champion Janakpur Bolts started their campaign in second season of NPL with some heavy defeat against Kathmandu Gorkhas. Kathmandu Gorkhas secured win in the first match of the season by defeating Janakpur Bolts by 5 wickets with 12 balls in hand. The Janakpur Bolts struggled as they managed to register a meager 130 runs when Kathmandu Gorkhas asked them to bat first.
In 20 overs, Janakpur, the reigning champions, scored 130 runs for six wickets. Aasif Sheikh’s first half-century in the NPL 2025 made him the top performer. Milind Kumar claimed three wickets for Kathmandu Gorkhas. The target was chased down by Kathmandu Gorkhas in eighteen overs. The capital city team lost five wickets while chasing down the target with ease.
