Nepali cricketer Aadil Alam has been cleared of all charges related to spot-fixing by CAN. He is now eligible to play in both national and international cricket matches. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) made the announcement today in a press release, confirming that Alam’s ban has been lifted.
Aadil has represented Nepal in six ODIs and eight T20Is. Alam was arrested in January 2023 by Nepal Police’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) over allegations of spot-fixing during the 2022/23 Nepal T20 League. He bowled a huge no-ball which sparked controvers.
