Janakpur Bolts clinched the Nepal Premier League (NPL) title by taking a sweat revenge with Sudurpaschim Royals. Janakpur secured a spectacular five-wicket win over to Sudurpaschim Royals. Janakpur Bolts was defeated by Sudurpaschim Royals in the Qualifier 1.
After winning the toss, Sudurpaschim Royals posted a 184 runs. Opener Saif Zaib scored a 69 off 43 balls, and Binod Bhandari added 41 off 31 balls, sharing a 117-run stand for the first wicket. Chasing 185, Janakpur started the inning with some powerful knock from the Lahiru Milantha. Bolts were able to score 105 in the first 10 overs. Milantha’s 87 off 49 balls led Janakpur to chase down a challenging 185-run target.
Sudurpaschim defeated Jankpur Bolts twice earlier in the tournament.
