Lumbini Lions has finally tasted their first win in the League as they defeated Chitwan Rhinos by 33 runs. Chitwan won the toss, elected to field first, restricting the Lumbini to 167 at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Thanks to the responsible batting from skipper Rohit Paudel and Saad Zafar. Paudel made 81 runs off 57 balls while Zafar made 52 for 35. For Rhinos Rijan Dhakal took 3 wickets. Meanwhile Kushal Malla and Ranjeet Kumar took a wicket each.
Skipper Rohit was also on top with ball as he took 4 major wickets dismissing Bipin Rawal 5 off 9, Sohail Tanvir 1 off 2, Ravi Bopara 12 off 16 and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton 6 off 7. Ramon Simmonds took two wickets while Saaz Zafar and Abhishesh Gautam took a single wicket each for Lumbini Lions.
