Nepal Thrashes Kuwait In T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier

Nepal defeated Kuwait by 58 runs in their opening match of their ICC T20 World Cup Asia–EAP Qualifiers campaign in Oman. Nepal lost the toss and were put in to bat first, scoring 141/7 in 20 overs. The innings was anchored by opener Kushal Bhurtel, who struck three fours and three sixes in a spectacular 66 off 56 balls. In the 19th over, Gulshan Jha produced late pyrotechnics by hitting 20 off just 6 balls with three consecutive sixes, while Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 20 runs. Anudeep Chentamara grabbed two wickets for twenty-two runs for Kuwait, while Naveenraj Thadathil took two wickets for forty. Kuwait struggled early and was bowled out for 83 runs in 18.1 overs while chasing 142. Yasin Patel scored 19 and Clinto Anto scored 26 to lead the pack.
