Raphael Varane Announces Retirement

Former Real Madrid and Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has announces his retirement from football. Varaney spent 10 years with Madrid and he was also a part of 2018 World Cup winning team. He joined  the Serie A side this summer after leaving Manchester United as a free agent. 31-year-old central defender Raphael Varane has retired from football after suffering a knee injury on his debut with Italian club Como. He joined United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021. He won Carabao Cup in the 2022-23 season and the FA Cup the following year.
