Kieron Pollard Retires From IPL

West Indies hard-hitting player Kieron Pollard has retired from IPL after Five-time champions Mumbai Indians released Kieron Pollard. Kieron Pollard joined Mumbai Indians in 2010. Meanwhile, Pollard will stay with MI as a batting coach and he will continue to play for MI Emirates in ILT20 in UAE. MI Emirates is also owned by the Mumbai Indians. He played 211  games (IPL + CLT20), scoring 3915 runs. He is currently 18th on the list of IPL’s highest run-getters. Keiron Pollard scored 3412 runs in 171 innings while playing for Mumbai Indians.

  • He is the second-highest run scorer for Mumbai Indians – 3915
  • He has the most sixes for Mumbai  Indians in IPL  – 223
  • He has the second joint-fastest 50 runs in his name. He scored 50 in 17 balls.
  • 5thmost Man of the Match Awards for an overseas player – 14.
